STM at MLK Day of Service

Small Things Matter ran a monster stuffies table to benefit the kids at Children’s National Medical Center at the MLK Day of Service at Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center on January 15, 2018 from 1-3pm. Children of all ages made stuffies either by drawing on canvas monster blanks or by using felt and safety eyes to decorate fleece monster blanks. They also sent along signed cards to send a happy greeting to each patient. It was amazing!!! Our thanks to Montgomery County Volunteer Center who hosted this wonderful event and to everyone who made a stuffie to brighten a child’s day!

STM donation to Children’s Inn at NIH

Did you know that there are small things that you can do to help others? Collecting toiletries from your travels is an easy way to help those in need. These toiletries were collected from our family vacation and donated to help the families at the The Children’s Inn at the NIH . There are many small ways that we can help.
