Comm(unity)
It is always so heartwarming to see how many hands working together can accomplish great things. Yesterday’s teen pantry distribution was a great example of this. In addition to our teen members we received volunteer support from the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints as well as generous donations of nonperishable foods from Manna, meat and cheese from Wegmans, hot meals from our partners at Silver Spring Cares, feminine hygiene products, bras, and socks from I Support the Girls, and blankets from Montgomery County Family and Community Services. Together we were able to serve several hundred families in unity.
