STM had a fantastic day wrapping for donations at Barnes & Noble on December 20, 2018. Our thanks to managers Mike, Jacob, and Justin for all of their help and to Temasek‘s Sustainability & Stewardship Group of Vivian Tran, Anne Perron, and Pierce Scranton for coming out and wrapping with us. 100% of funds raised will be used to purchase book for our literacy program.
Our thanks to everyone for making Winterfest a success yesterday December 15, 2018. We enjoyed meeting the many families and individuals who came out and enjoyed our wonderful artisans and vendors, Santa (played by the amazing Karl Kosok), food, and craft tables sponsored by STM. STM had a great day and is grateful for the support from our partner Difference Makers and for all the volunteers that we recruited through Montgomery County Volunteer Center. The children had a great time visiting Santa, decorating cookies/ornaments, making pinecone birdfeeders/beaded ornaments, folding origami, and face painting. STM also sold photo button ornaments at this event. We hope you did too and that we’ll see everyone again next year!

STM and Girl Scout Troop 31005 made 13 lovely monster stuffies for The Children’s Inn at NIH on November 11, 2018. Our thanks to Girl Scout Lannie for leading the stuffies workshop and to Stephanee Nimetz for inviting us and hosting the event at her lovely home! Everyone did an AMAZING job!
