Seniors at Hampshire Tower Apartments were recipients of 10 lovely handmade fleece blankets! Our thanks to Sahana for her work as a HERSHEY’S Heartwarming Grant recipient in partnership with Youth Service America, Marion, Sahana, site coordinator Doris, and all the youth volunteers for spreading kindness in our community!
One of the places that Small Things Matter distributes food is at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church Little Free Food Pantry! This allows food insecure individuals with 24/7 access to nonperishables. Everyone is welcome to add nonperishable food items to share with those in need.
Wonderful time at Montgomery Blair High School Blair Fair! Thank you Principal Renay Johnson for allowing us to share our mission to serve food insecure families/individuals and encourage healthy eating. It was a great day and we enjoyed all the student performances, craft fair, auction, and plant sales!
